"Give 5" will feature over 50 local artists and musicians. Donations will be taken to help support two local families (a single-father family and a homeless single-mother family). This past December's event raised over $1300 for two families and was attended by approximately 300 people. This event seeks to raise awareness of local talent while helping out families in our community. Visit our MySpace page for more info.

Friends of the Festival, Leadership Chattanooga and the City of Chattanooga have joined forces to develop a recycling program called "Green Affair".
The goal of this program is to recycle the large amount of waste that is created by the event, and to educate festival goers on how recycling can be facilitated at their home and in their communities.

Ahoy Chattanooga!
The newest attraction to grace the Scenic City is steaming for its new anchorage at Coolidge Park Landing.
The Legendary Delta Queen, the last fully operational, overnight passenger steamboat in the country will soon be Chattanooga's newest boutique hotel. This National Historic Landmark is scheduled to arrive in February with her 87 staterooms, Victorian era heritage and a storied history waiting for your discovery.
With her red sternwheel churning the mighty Mississippi and her flag flying high, the legendary Delta Queen is the quintessential American river ship. She captures a time when thousands of steamboats navigated the country's inland waterways.
This grand lady had logged over two million miles, carried over half a million passengers and is the only boat to be inducted into the National Marine Hall of Fame while still in service. She has entertained Presidents, foreign dignitaries and hosts of celebrities. Some of her unique features include a rare ironwood floor gracing the Orleans Room, an 1897 steam calliope salvaged from a sunken showboat and the very same ship's bell that sounded out landings for the steamboat Mark Twain rode downriver in 1883.
Besides hosting Chattanooga's most unique overnight accommodations, the Delta Queen will feature live music, theatrical performances and romantic dining and drinks overlooking the Tennessee River. Group tours will be available, allowing visitors to learn first-hand about steam technology and the colorful history of a legendary paddleboat.
Our web site will be updated soon with more information about the experiences you can share on the Delta Queen.
Welcome Aboard.
